ABOUT OUR HISTORY:
There is a brownstone, just beyond the northernmost tip of New York’s Central Park, unlike any other. Built in 1910, it is where all of our artisanal scents are created. Each boutique perfume, poured in small batches, bottled and packed entirely by hand.
SMALL BATCH:
All fragrances are made by hand in a 100-year-old New York brownstone, preserving traditional craftsmanship and care.
ABOUT THE BOTTLES:
Our signature glass bottles are a miniature version of the brownstone where your perfumes are made. We also hold a patent for their unique design.
ABOUT OUR FRAGRANCES:
We use European-standard ingredients and 100% plant-based formulations. We prioritize using essential oils whenever possible. The scent of sweet black honey, lavender chai, and wild flowers perfume the air, where a small but mighty crew is busily hand-making their charming line of artisanal, fragranced products. Named after their uptown locale, Uptown Perfumery’s goods are crafted with proprietary formulations and exquisite scents.
ABOUT SUSTAINABILITY:
We are dedicated to minimizing our environmental impact through every aspect of our packaging. Our boxes are crafted from post-consumer recycled paper and printed with natural ink dyes, reducing waste and harmful chemicals. Additionally, our bottles are made from recycled glass, allowing us to repurpose materials and reduce our carbon footprint.

Built from durable, heavy cardboard, the box is designed to last—it's something you won't want to throw away. When opened, it unfolds gracefully in a trio, revealing an enchanting scene of a New York street with iconic brownstones, instantly transporting you to the heart of the city. Sitting proudly atop one of these brownstones is a majestic peacock, a nod to the real-life peacocks that roam freely on the Columbia University campus, just steps from our headquarters.
